Malinska is situated along the northwestern coast
of the island Krk, in a wide bay, only 15 kilometres from "Krcki most" (The
Bridge "KRK").
Known long ago as a safe port, today is a famous tourist resort fostering
at the same time its fishing and maritime tradition.
In each season of the year Malinska has some special kind of attraction.
Pebbly and sandy beaches either near the village or in sheltered bays, offer
a choice to everybody. They give the possibility to some people to enjoy
in the sunshine from early morning to late afternoon hours, to others to
rest in pleasant shade, in isolation, with eyes wandering in the blueness
of the sea.
Various cultural, entertainment and sport events, exhibitions, water sports,
fishing, tennis, dyscotheques, dancing terraces, a rich gastronomic offer,
shops and service shops as well as the vicinity of interesting excursion
places enrich the guest's sojourn here.
